This Privacy Policy explains what data the Burger Boys Server Discord application (“the bot”) collects, why, how it is stored, and how you can have it removed. The bot is powered by DiscordSRV , an open-source Minecraft server plugin that links Discord and Minecraft accounts. The bot operates within our private community Discord server only and is not a public bot.


Who We Are

This bot is operated by the staff of the Burger Boys community for the sole purpose of connecting our Discord server to our Minecraft server. For any questions or requests relating to your data, contact us using the details in the Contacting Us section below.


What Data We Collect

The bot accesses and stores the minimum data needed to function:

Account link data When you choose to link your accounts, we store a mapping between your Discord user ID and your Minecraft account (UUID/username). This is what connects your Discord identity to your in-game identity.
Server role & membership data The bot reads your roles within our Discord server (for example, whether you hold our YouTube Membership role or Twitch Subscriber role) and reacts to role changes and to you joining or leaving the server. This is used to determine whether you are permitted to access our Minecraft server.
Chat messages (in transit only) The bot relays messages in real time between our Discord channel and our Minecraft server chat so the two communities can talk to each other. Message content is forwarded live and is not stored by the bot, is not stored off-platform, and is not used to train any machine learning or AI models.

We do not collect payment information, email addresses, or any data beyond what is described above.


Why We Collect It

1 To provide a two-way chat relay between our Discord server and our Minecraft server.
2 To control access to our Minecraft server, so that only members holding a qualifying role (YouTube Membership or Twitch Subscriber) are whitelisted to play.
3 To display correct usernames and nicknames in the chat relay.

How Your Data Is Stored

Account link data is stored by the DiscordSRV plugin in a database or file on the server that hosts our Minecraft server. Chat message content is not stored, it is relayed in real time and then discarded.


We retain account link data for as long as you remain a linked member of our community. We do not operate on a fixed short retention window, because the link needs to persist for your access to continue working. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).


Your Rights & How to Delete Your Data

You can ask us to remove your linked account data at any time. On request, your Discord-Minecraft account link and your Minecraft server whitelist entry will be permanently deleted. Note that deleting this data will end your linked access to the Minecraft server.
